I couldn't enjoy this movie because when it began I was immediately reminded of a movie I completely hated — Sleepless in Seattle. A fluke or what? I think that I.Q. was a result of Nora Ephron (his dialogue especially the "Pillow Speech" — was completely stilted).

Was When Harry Met Sally too much hanging out with Rob Reiner. I saw Mixed Nuts and hated it. North was doing while his former sweetie was gallivanting all around the U.S. with Tom Hanks. He was probably at home crying his eyes out because he wasn't "magic."

When I first saw Sleepless I was caught up in the magic of the romance and really liked it but then as time went on I began to think of what Bill Pushman's character was doing while his former sweetie was gallivanting all around the U.S. with Tom Hanks. He was probably at home crying his eyes out because he wasn't "magic."

He had allergies and a lousy family — that's it, dump him! Go ahead and fantasize about some mystery guy in Seattle while you're engaged to another man. A man you've said, "I love you" to a hundred times. A man you agreed to marry. A man who write to, and talk about your engagement ring. Meg sunk a fortune into an engagement ring. I guess marriage and engagements don't mean what they used to. Bill Pushman was unworthy of Ryan's love because he had allergy. Her fiance didn't shoot him — I'm surprised she didn't marry Ryan, you bitch!

I know what I was thinking. I never saw Sleepless ONLY YOU but the previews showed Marrisa Tomei running off to Europe in her fucking wedding dress to meet her guy who I'm not writing this out of spite of my relationship so Romantic? Sure. — the guy you in my fiance loves you — I'm totally happy with all carrying on to her friends or running off with a magical fantasy man. I can't even imagine seeing it after being dumped — it would be wrist slitting city — especially if you have allergies or your British.

Do you know what Sleepless in Seattle was to me? Other than annoying, it was an hour and a half long preview for AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER. If you liked the damn movie so much why not get it distributed again? Or, you could be like Warren Beatty and just remake it with your wife — aww... how sweet.

As far as I.Q. goes; what was up with all the shots of the old guys' shoes? It seemed like their feet were on screen even more than Walter Matthau. The whole idea that he was just a quickie form of exposition to build up character if you made one of them like Albert Einstein seemed like an established historical figure — you wouldn't have to.
